Terrifying Tuesdays: Charles Dickens' "The Trial for Murder"

From ScriTube

Happy birthday to Charles Dickens, whose 200th birthday anniversary is today!  This popular and prolific British author is best known for his serial novels depicting both good and bad aspects of life in 19th century England, but he also wrote a number of fine ghostly tales.  "The Trial for Murder" (also known as "To Be Taken with a Grain of Salt") is one of the best, and you can read it here or listen to it on YouTube. Previous posts on this blog have described his scary short story "The Signalman" as well as his classic Christmas ghost story "A Christmas Carol".  Treat yourself to a Charles Dickens story today in honor of his 200th birthday -- you won't regret it!
