Don't forget to watch the skies tonight for Supermoon! March 19th is the night of the perigee moon, a full moon that is the biggest in almost 20 years. And contrary to a few alarmist predictions, despite the recent unfortunate earthquake and tsunami that hit Japan the Supermoon will not be the cause of numerous natural disasters. These extra-large perigee moons have happened before without incident, the last in 1993. So go out tonight and let the Supermoon "hit your eye like a big pizza pie". I don't know if "that's amore", but it will certainly be impressive!
