Weekend Wardrobe: Walk on the Wild Side Autumn Basic 4x4 Wardrobe

The inspiration for this week's post came from several sources.  One was the outfit shown above, a striped sweater and mom jeans, that I recently purchased for myself from Mango.  The other two, both from Soft Surroundings, were an autumnal topper in an array of seasonal colors and a pair of espadrilles in similar colors but a wildly different print:

The espadrilles inspired the name of this week's collection, but they will show up in next week's accessories post for this 4x4 wardrobe.  For today, let's start with the first set of four which includes the sweater and jeans:

All of these colors fall into my preferred palette, and I would happily own every one of these items.  Next week I will be adding accessories that emphasize the wild side of this wardrobe.  And, now that we are finally experiencing fall weather, I will actually start wearing my own autumnal apparel!
