Sugar and spice mixture for Chai Tea Cupcakes (from Bakingdom). |
Once again food has inspired my fashion post! This time I've used a sugar and spice theme, pairing a slightly off-white shade with warm spice colors. This wardrobe would work for a quick weekend getaway trip, perhaps to a fall harvest festival or Oktoberfest?
Let's start with the travel outfit:
Clockwise from top left: J. Crew Tissue Turtleneck T-Shirt in Spice; Coldwater Creek Sunset Kilim Scarf; Clodwater Creek Classic Open Front Cardigan in Ivory; DSW Moda Luxe Dandelion Shoulder Bag in Cognac; ALDO Isidora Ankle Boots in Cognac; Coldwater Creek Pinwale Stretch Corduroys in Spice. |
Next up are the items to pack:
Clockwise from top left: Coldwater Creek Triple-Tier Pearl Necklace; AmeriLeather Leather 22" Expandable Carry On Pullman in Brown; Orvis Everyday Silk Shirt in Pearl; Coldwater Creek Knit Denim Slim-Leg Leggings in Spice; Orvis Paisley Fuji Silk Shirt; SolidColorNeckties.com Women's Cinnamon Cognac Solid Color Scarf; Land's End Women's Classic Ballet Flats in Cognac; Banana Republic Heritage French Shirt Dress in Rust. |
Should the weather finally turn cool (like it did here yesterday), a couple more warmer layers would be a necessity on this trip. Let's add one more cardigan, like the Fair Indigo Organic Fair Trade Boyfriend Cardigan in Copper:
And how about a simple but stylish option like this Current/Elliott Suede Jacket in Burnt Nutmeg?

I just can't get enough of these spicy fall colors, but I promise to choose a totally different color palette for my next fashion post!
