Weekend Wardrobe: Wearin' o' the Green Spring Weekend Getaway Travel Wardrobe

Here we are in the month of March already, which brings to mind images of spring and St. Patrick's Day, both of which prominently feature the color green.  I decided that green would be my inspiration for today's travel wardrobe, which would be great for celebrating either March event.  There is a subtle nod to the Irish-inspired celebration with some shamrocks and Celtic symbols, but these touches are also suitable for a salute to spring wardrobe.

And where to go with this wearing' o' the green wardrobe?  Personally, I would head north to Downers Grove, Illinois, for the Irish Breakfast Tea at Pinecone Cottage Tea House (although they are already sold out for this year)!  I may have to rethink the coat I take, though, as winter does not seem to want to let go up there - the coat below would probably be the smarter choice for a northern destination (and I might need to replace the white sneakers with a pair of boots as well):

I hope spring weather is not far off wherever you live, although if you live in the South like I do it has probably already arrived.  At least we know for sure that spring officially starts on March 20th, no matter what the weather does, and that St. Patrick's Day will be on March 17th.  Bring on the green!
