Current Events: Mutual Rescue™ -- Eric and Peety

I cannot recommend this video enough!  It describes the amazing and heartfelt story of a man who rescues a shelter dog and in the end realizes that the two of them actually rescued each other.  I promised myself before watching the first time that I would not be emotionally affected, but I still got teary-eyed.  Read the NPR story here for more details, and find out more about Mutual Rescue here.  If you have a similar story about a rescued shelter pet, consider sharing your story on the Mutual Rescue site.  It's all for the sake of getting more shelter animals into forever homes, and that is a worthy cause indeed!
