Every year the Smithsonian Store features items with a cherry blossom theme to coincide with the annual National Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington, DC. Here are a few of my favorites:
1) 2017 Smithsonian Cherry Blossoms Tee ($45) - if you love spring colors and floral prints then this is the shirt for you! A spray of cherry blossoms decorates the front of a 100% cotton light blue v-neck tee shirt with 3/4-length sleeves. There is also a limited selection left of last year's design (see it here).
2) 2017 Smithsonian Cherry Blossoms Scarf ($60) - a lovely 100% silk scarf in pale blue with a cherry blossom print. The scarf measure 59" by 13.5" and has a hand-rolled hem.
3) 2016 Smithsonian Porcelain Cherry Blossoms Teapot and Mugs Set ($70) - this decaled porcelain set of teapot and two mugs is microwave and dishwasher safe, and comes packaged in a gift/storage box. The teapot holds 32 ounces and the mugs each hold 12 ounces. The teapot and set of two mugs can also be purchased separately.
4) Impressionistic Cherry Blossom Bangle ($155) - I love cuff bracelets, and this one with a cherry blossom motif in bold colors appeals to me. The design is worked in enamel and mother-of-pearl, and the hinge-closure cuff fits a 7-inch wrist.

Even if you never get to our nation's capitol to see the cherry blossoms, these selections from the Smithsonian Store will be a sweet reminder of their delicate beauty!
