Weekend Wardrobe: Twelve Days of Christmas Outfits, Parts 10, 11, and 12

Clockwise from left: Christmas Tree in Blues (from Ocean "Life" Styles); Candy Cane (from Planet Christmas); Holiday Plaid (from Pottery Barn - no longer available).

The final set in my "Twelve Days of Christmas Outfits" series is based on the three holiday themes shown above.  The first theme is a casual outfit inspired by a turtleneck top from Wintersilks printed with a holiday trees design dominated by shades of blue.  I chose to emphasize the blue-green color in the print:

Clockwise from top left: L.L. Bean Women's Trail Model Fleece Vest in Teal Green Heather; Nordstrom Nadri Jolly Christmas Tree Pin in Silver; Walmart Sterling Silver Christmas Tree Holiday Bracelet; Title Nine Gleason Knee Socks in Natural Heather; Shoebuy Women's Lugz Shifter Ballistic Boots in Sour Blue/White; The Tog Shop Brushed Denim Flat-Front Pants in White; WinterSilks Cotton Modal Print Turtleneck Top.

The second outfit was inspired by a candy cane-striped scarf from the Smithsonian Store catalog.  The red and white are grounded by basic black, with whimsical touches of a candy cane motif.  A delightfully unexpected bonus -- the candy cane earrings are peppermint-scented!

Clockwise from top left: L.L. Bean Women's Trail Model Fleece Vest in Barberry; Tiny Hands Scented Candy Cane Earrings; Smithsonian Store Candy Cane Muffler; The Sox Market Foot Traffic Women's Candy Cane Socks; Target Women's Journee Collection Ramsey Faux Suede Stacked Heel Booties in Red; L.L. Bean Women's Perfect Fit Slim Pants in Black; Potpourri Candy Cane Delight Top.

And finally I couldn't end this series without including a holiday plaid outfit!  I am not overly fond of plaid (despite being one-quarter Scottish!), but the red, grey, and green plaid skirt from The Vermont Country Store is subtle enough to suit my tastes.  Emerald green is not a favorite either, but if elves can wear this shade of green for Christmas then how could I possibly leave this color out for the holidays?

Clockwise from top left: L.L. Bean Cozy Bouclé Open Cardigan in Charcoal Heather (color sold out online); PYNK Jewellery Silver Plated and Green and Swarovski Crystal Christmas Wreath Brooch; GBgifts Antique Silver Tone Christmas Necklace; We Love Colors Nylon/Lycra Microfiber Solid Color Tights in Spruce Green; Shoe Shack Bussola Women's Coimbra Flexible Mid-High Boots in Charcoal; The Vermont Country Store Bias Cut Flannel Skirt in Red and Grey Plaid; Orvis Ribbed Cotton Blend Turtleneck in Emerald.

And so ends my "Twelve Days of Christmas Outfits" series!  I hope you have been inspired, or at least entertained, by the one dozen very different options I put together.  I also hope your Christmas is inspired, or at least entertaining, as well!  (And fear not, there is one more holiday wardrobe collection to be posted next week, on Christmas Eve day.)
