Weekend Wardrobe: The Twelve Days of Christmas Outfits, Parts 4, 5, and 6

From C & G Newspapers

This week I decided to go for the glamour and present three Christmas outfits meant for elegant partying, based on the metallic colors of copper, silver, and rose gold.  These ensembles are definitely fantasy outfits (often with fantasy price tags to match!), but it never hurts to dream big once in a while.  Without further ado, let's start off with the copper, which is my personal favorite metallic:

Clockwise from top left: Vanessa Seward Women's Chini Silk Turtleneck Top in Black; Lime Road Copper Gold Inter Looped Statement Necklace; PashminaaCollection 100% Raw Silk Thailand Shawl in Brown/Copper; Latico Leather Ella Mimi Wristlet & Clutch in Metallic Copper; Donald J Pliner Tessa Boots in Black Calf; Stella McCartney Lace-Panel Pleated Lamé Midi Skirt.

Elegant with a touch of eccentricity is the way I would describe the above outfit.  That skirt will stand out in any crowd!

Clockwise from top left: Norma Kamali Lamé Top in Metallic Silver; Silver Trendz Fabulous Green Emerald Gemstones Statement Necklace in Sterling Silver; TeresaMare Fringed Meander Pattern Winter Shawl in Black/Grey/Metallic Silver; The Grommet Mighty Purse Classic Wristlet in Metallic Silver; Stuart Weitzman Poco Pumps in Platinum Noir; Stella McCartney Camilla Trousers in Black.

The above combination in silver with black and a touch of green is cool and sophisticated but not too formal.  That necklace is a true statement piece for this otherwise understated look.

Clockwise from top left: Stella McCartney Eva Silk Crepe de Chine Blouse in Blush; Italian Rose Gold Cleopatra Tapered Bib Necklace; Louis Vuitton Monogram Shawl in Dune; GiGi New York Wristlet Phone Wallet in Rose Metallic Goatskin; Trotters Women's Gigi Pumps in Light Pink Pearlized Glazed Kid; Lord & Taylor Miss Selfridge Accordion Pleated Midi Skirt in Gold.

If you prefer a more monochromatic look, this mix of rose gold and blush should do the trick.  Even though it is based on a metallic color, all of the pieces are muted rather than flashy, in a way that will make a subtle but lasting impression.

Next week we switch from stylishly elegant to comfortably casual attire, based on cozy cardigans and easy jeans.  Now that's more my preference (and price range)!
