Weekend Wardrobe: Fun and Funky Coastal Weekend Getaway Wardrobe

Old Pueblo Traders Koret Stretch Jeans in Abstract Paisley

When I saw the colorfully flamboyant jeans pictured above, I just had to create a fun travel wardrobe around them.  I could imagine wearing these jeans for a trip to a coastal location in early spring, a bit too cool for summery outfits but just right for bright and colorful apparel.  I chose to emphasize a lovely medium blue shade found in the pants for this wardrobe, but there are so many colors to choose from that you could just about wear these pants every weekend and never use the same accent color twice!  Here is the outfit to wear when traveling to the coastal destination:

The successive nor'easters which have been pummeling the states to our north have led to much cooler temperatures here, but eventually balmier weather will return.  When it does I am ready to put away my winter wardrobe and start wearing the clothes and colors of spring.  I think this travel wardrobe would be a perfect starting point for the transition.  In fact, next week I just might continue my spring travel theme, perhaps with a totally different destination in mind.
