Today's very short sea-themed horror fiction does not have a title, but it is such a creepy little well-told tale that it would be great for spooky storytelling at Halloween. This story by Welsh-British author Horatio Clare, published in The Telegraph a few years ago, is told from the point of view of a sailor whose mother comes to visit him aboard ship. What she sees comes as a shock to her son, and it will startle you as well! Read this brief but effective narrative here.
