Holiday Hits: April Fools Day

Happy April Fools Day!  Do you have a joke or prank planned for the day?  This is something I am never able to pull off, but some people are very good at it.  Perhaps the most well known example of great numbers of people being fooled into believing something that was not true was the Orson Welles radio broadcast of H. G. Wells' novel The War of the Worlds.  If you would like to hear this almost hour-long program for yourself, here it is:


I wonder if I would have been fooled as well.  I would like to think not, but who knows!  Luckily most April Fools Day pranks are harmless fun, so just enjoy them and be glad this only happens one day out of the year!
