"A Christmas Carol" (1951), also known as "Scrooge", based upon the beloved Charles Dickens story of the same name, is a classic ghost story. This familiar tale of Ebenezer Scrooge, the cynical old miser who is given one last chance to reform by visits from the ghost of his old business partner, Jacob Marley, as well as the ghosts of Christmases past, present, and future, is available in several film versions. My favorite is the one from 1951, starring Alastair Sim as Scrooge. You can read the Dickens novella here, and watch the movie on YouTube:
Enjoy, and, as Tiny Tim would say, "God bless us, every one!"
